Let’s discuss how environmental factors affect the developing visual system and how to use movement-oriented interactions to influence the proper development of visual acuity, pursuits, saccades, binocularity and visual perception.

We will also look at developmental milestones and specific conditions to be aware of along with appropriate responses.

CA Budget Compromise Reached

Governor Newsom, President pro Tempore Mike McGuire and Speaker of the Assembly Robert Rivas announced Saturday that a compromise has been reached regarding the California budget.

One of the compromises for the Department of Developmental Services budget is that the rate implementation will have a 6 month delay instead of 1 year. "Department of Developmental Services Provider Pay Delay—Delays implementation of increased provider pay by six months to January 1, 2025."
