Yesterday the Department of Developmental Services offered a Draft "Ready for Re-Entry?" Link here plan for comments to the community.
The Plan is a draft and is a document in development.

The Infant Development Association will be hosting a virtual, attendance limited "focus group" regarding the draft "Ready for Re-Entry? plan on Tuesday, June 16 | 11:30am-12:30pm.

ACTION Reminders - Call Gov. & IDP Comments Needed- DDS Draft Re-Entry Plan

ACTION: Have you called your legislators and Govenor Newsom to remind them how important it is to not cut services to the Developmental Services system. The legislators made a counter offer: includes catch up rate adjustments for Infant Programs, Infant Therapeutic services; eliminates unpaid holidays and rejects family fees.

CA Budget Compromise Reached

Governor Newsom, President pro Tempore Mike McGuire and Speaker of the Assembly Robert Rivas announced Saturday that a compromise has been reached regarding the California budget.

One of the compromises for the Department of Developmental Services budget is that the rate implementation will have a 6 month delay instead of 1 year. "Department of Developmental Services Provider Pay Delay—Delays implementation of increased provider pay by six months to January 1, 2025."
