esearchers and experts in the field of early intervention repeatedly find t
hat most early interventionists do not have specific training and knowledge
related to best practice patterns for the provision of family-centered ser
vices as mandated by Part C of IDEA. These workshops describe and present e
vidence and demonstrations for using best practices in early intervention,
more specifically: using everyday activities and routines as a context for
family-centered early intervention. Participants gain an understanding of h
ow to implement coaching strategies and routines-based practices into their
virtual and in-person home-visits through video modeling of real home-visi
ts, reflection, and problem solving.

Speech Language Pathologist
Stacey
has devoted her career to supporting communication and connection between y
oung children and their caregivers. She has worked in the homes of hundreds
of families across southern
California and she has guest lectured ac ross the United State to early childhood specialists. Stacey is in her 16th year of professional practice as a speech-language pathologist.
She is a 2019 graduate of the Leadership Excellence in Neurodevelopmental Disab ilities Fellowship at USC/CHLA.
Currently Stacey's work is primarily focused on interdisciplinary early intervention and dissemination of best p ractice patterns related to coaching and routines-based intervention.
