Stacey Landberg, M.S., CCC-SLP
Speech Language Pat
hologist
Stacey has devoted her career to supporting communic
ation and connection between young children and their caregivers. She has w
orked in the homes of hundreds of families across southern California and s
he has guest lectured across the United State to early childhood specialist
s. Stacey is in her 16th year of professional practice as a speech-language
pathologist. She is a 2019 graduate of the Leadership Excellence in Neurod
evelopmental Disabilities Fellowship at USC/CHLA. Currently Stacey's work i
s primarily focused on interdisciplinary early intervention and disseminati
on of best practice patterns related to coaching and routines-based interve
ntion.
Researchers and experts in the field of early intervention rep eatedly find that most early interventionists do not have specific training and knowledge related to best practice patterns for the provision of famil y-centered services as mandated by Part C of IDEA. These workshops describe and present evidence and demonstrations for using best practices in early intervention, more specifically: using everyday activities and routines as a context for family-centered early intervention. Participants gain an unde rstanding of how to implement coaching strategies and routines-based practi ces into their virtual and in-person home-visits through video modeling of real home-visits, reflection, and problem.
